The economy might be in recession, stocks might be down, but The Scarlet Pimpernel (showing tonight) is certainly the most enjoyable bailout of the wealthy to come to the silver screen! Leslie Howard and Raymond Massey are superb in their verbal fencing, and Merle Oberon also does a nice job as Percy's estranged wife. This has not been shown on TCM in some time (if ever!), so catch it while you can!
