My most guilty pleasure...The Gay Divorcee ...just because I've seen it so many times it's pitiful.
Should I be doing something productive?

My most guilty modern pleasures which I'll watch over and over...
Alice in Wonderland (the one with Whoopi) is so demented it's just fun
Moonstruck (which plays to me more like a 30's character movie imo)
Moulin Rouge (get out the tissues)
and, last but not least,
Sleepless in Seattle (the best scene is where the guys mock the sister for crying during Love Affair)

Birdy, to me, the best scene in "Sleepless" is a toss up between her running towards the Empire State Building (I start blubbering) and when Tom Hanks reaches out and takes her hand.....I lose it every time! Guess I just want to believe there really are happy endings.....

I'm more of An Affair to Remember girl myself, I just want to shout at the screen, 'she's paralysed, can you not tell?' I'm fond of Sleepless too.

Birdy, have you seen the 1985 version of "Alice In Wonderland"? I consider it my favorite of them all because of the wonderful cast and creative songs. It features Sammy Davis Jr, Telly Savalas, Carol Channing, Red Buttons, Imogene Coca, and Shelly Winters among other stars. As a child I remember bugging my aunt to let me borrow it all the time. The one you mentioned comes up second on my list. It was a nice adaptation featuring Martin Short and Gene Wilder.
