And The Oscar Goes To...

Post by bobhopefan1940 »

Perhaps this will be fun, time consuming, but fun. I'm not sure if a thread lke this has been started over at the 'mother board' (probably has), but either way I'll go ahead with it.

This is your opportunity to give your own version of the Academy Awards, classic movie style. Some of the categories I have cut out, and could be added back in by request. Your options include ALL films that have been aired on TCM in the past (yes, even Spaceballs and any other applicable Rick Moranis flick), and those that have not been aired must be pre-1970. If you do not have an answer for one of the categories, just leave it blank. If you are torn between two options, you can give your answers marked as "nominees". Please give the role and film your winner originated from, if possible.

And here are the categories:

Best Picture:

Best Actor (Dramatic):
Best Actor (Comedy):

Best Actress (Dramatic):
Best Actress (Comedy):

Best Supporting Actor:
Best Supporting Actress:

Best Director:

Best Original Screenplay:

Best Art Direction:

Best Costume Design:

Best Documentary Feature:

Best Foreign Language Film:

Best Make-Up:

Best Score (Musical or Comedy):
Best Score (Dramtic):

And - Honorary Oscar for Lifetime Achievement goes to... :
"How strange when an illusion dies. It's as though you've lost a child." --Judy Garland
