I don’t wish to beat a dead horse, but chatter about me continues on CMTR.
It is annoying! I don’t know how to PM, so I will say it here.
I have not posted to CMTR since leaving (JJG).
Game over! No one is moderating! I will NEVER return!
The people posting as Guests will end up destroying things for TopBilled.
I want to enjoy myself here without the constant negativity over there.

Do what I did and delete any and all links or bookmarks to that other site and don't try to go to it.
Watching until the end.

It isn't you being spied on over there. Someone is reading everything I post on SSO and putting it on CMTR.
None of the "real" people there seem to care, only the child like guests.
Based on what I just read, my most recent post is already being quoted.
I am puzzled as it appears as if Lucky Dan has gone undercover as a guest poster too.
They are counting how many times I've posted here and claim everything I say goes against them.
Not true. Just the lack of moderation over there.
One guest over there claims SSO is next as there job is done at CMTR.
If nothing can be done about this, I will have no choice but to delete my account here too.
Funny how I'm an Android guy on an Apple forum and nothing ever gets like this.

Since I can’t do it myself, I want my account here deleted.
No one here can do anything about it and no one over there will either.
None of this is worth dealing with!

Yeah, I don't get that demand either . . . especially by jimimac71 who's only been an SSO member for two weeks.

FYI, jm71, no one would know about your drama if you didn't broadcast it.

From the link EP just posted, here's good advice from more than ten years ago, from tbackoff (who evidently backed off):

I don't think you can. Why not just stop posting?

I can't speak for anyone else, but if I want to delete my account, it's so I'm not tempted to return. I may still read a message board and be tempted to respond if someone posts something really dumb or, less likely, really interesting. If the account is gone, I would be less likely to succumb to temptation.

But yeah, here, your best (and I guess only) bet is to just not post or log in or look at the site. And everyone who has posted on this thread today has got know that doing so is likely just going to stir the pot further.
Watching until the end.

jimimac71 wrote: January 28th, 2023, 5:53 pm He is a writer and not someone to operate a forum.
(snipped) A guest from over there quoted me from over here. Another person using both forums talked behind my back, which is just rude.
Realize many "guests" are actually bots, I see Google's bot in here regularly.
Where did you get the idea that forum operator is a "writer"? Because they claim it, or because you've seen/read them in print?

Please let me know if anyone's yanking you around over here -so far it's been civil. Kind of sad when you have to be guarded just posting in a public forum.

Bots are here all the time, built into the board. They are harmless and intended to ease search indexing by Google, for instance. I've hidden their presence from the "who is online" here to ease peoples minds. I can't speak for the other place, of course; they may allow guest posting (I've never been there, don't even know the site link).

Thank You TikiSoo. (Like Button!)
I figured out how to PM and asked Lomm to leave my account here active.
My experience with bots is they post once and never return.
What happened with me was more advanced than that.
I am curious. This forum doesn't have ads. My home PC has ad blocking but my mobile devices don't.
How does this forum keep running?
EDIT: I see other people's point of view but relate to LawrenceA's most recent comment the most.
