Thanks to everyone for your kind wishes and continued presence. I am feeling a bit better, though I have some way to go before feeling "truly perky" again.

I won't be able to post as much as I might like for some time, but thank goodness Klondike, Lzcutter, and Movieman1957 are here to offer their help on this playground that Jondaris has kindly constructed for all of us.

I am moving a bit like the guys you can meet in this all too apt video at this spot

I am glad you are OK, Moira. Take it easy, and I swear, if you look anything like those cute little babies, I'll bundle you up and take you home with me!

I think we can all take a lesson from those babies on how to slow down and "chill", as they say. Not a bad way to live.

Good to hear from you Moira, and do take it easy. Remember us? The "Stop and Smell the Roses" generation? Now would be a good time to do so, and they are blooming so prettily in Brooklyn. Hope you've got lots within easy reach.

Thanks for your kind words, all...I'm trying to come back online a few moments a day, but it is going to take time and I have to accept that for now.
Impatiently but gratefully,
Moira

Hi Moira,

I am new with this site so you do not know me. But I love the site so much and the people who are part of it that I feel you have been a missing spoke in this well crafted wheel. Get well very soon so we can all strengthen our collective resolve and roll on. My blessing to you carry a lot of weight everywhere.

So glad to hear that your feeling a little better since our last email.
Miss you, since you've been a great help to me throughout the years, including our years at TCM.
Hang in there and return to us soon.

Moira, I don't know how I missed this thread except I have been skimming only since the yard work started - I tend to look at the candids, whine a little, and chat a bit in precodes or musicals.

Anyhoo, Anne's question pointed me here so wanted to send you my good wishes as well. Sounds like you're doing a wee bit better now. I have always appreciated your work on this site, your diplomacy, your gift of writing, and your knowledge of films. I consider it an honor to be part of such a well-run and nice forum.

Best wishes for your recovery. I hope it is speeded by cool breezes and a lineup of your faves on TCM.

Birdy

Moira:

I'm with Birdy on the lack of knowledge that something was wrong. I must have been sleeping when the original notice went out that you were ailing. I hope things are getting better now, and you will soon be your own 'hip' self again.
