Hello to all! My name is Hedvig, and I was invited here by charliechaplinfan and Annharding. I'm 18 years old, I live in Sweden, and I love in all kinds of classic film, and silent movies in particular.

I'm a big fan of James Cagney, Fred Astair and Ginger Rogers, Lillian Gish, Mary Pickford, Clara Bow, Greta Garbo, Cary Grant, Humphrey Bogart, Charlie Chaplin and many other stars. I like them all really, there was so much talent in classic era Hollywood, as well as in many other countries. My favourite movie actress at the moment is Karin Molander, who can be seen in the film Erotikon. I love German, Swedish, French and American silent cinema, as well as pre-codes and the classic era, and I am discovering more and more. It is very exciting.

:D This looks like a great forum!

Welcome Hedvig! :D I am hoping to see Körkarlen/The Phantom Carriage (1921) for the first time soon. I'm a big Bergman fan as well.

Welcome, Hedvig. I am a HUGE Carl Th. Dreyer fan. The Danes are the Swedes' little brothers, correct?

Thank you for the warm welcome everyone!! It looks pretty okay, for a mob. :D

Mr Arkadin, The Phantom Carriage is one of my favourite movies. I hope you will like it too. I like Bergman as well, although I haven't seen so many of his movies yet.

Chi0, I'm not sure they would agree to that... I must see more films by Dreyer!

Bogie, I love your username. Long live Bogie.
