Hey, metsfan
Yeah, those rare DVDs of "I Saw What You Did" are going for $63 and up on Amazon.com!
I'd love to see a DVD double feature of "I Saw What You Did" and "Let's Kill Uncle-"with Mary Badham and Pat Cardi (the guy who created MovieFone.)

ben,

I was just looking up the title because it brought back memories from when I was a kid and I saw it. In looking it up, I came across titles "I Know What You Did Last Summer," "I Still Know What You Did Last Summer" (working title: "I Know What You Did Two Summers Ago"), and a short on the making of "I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer". Plus "I Know What You Did Last Winter." And I thought Andy Hardy films bred like rabbits.

Off the top, I would love to see SONY release the numerous Columbia Film Noir titles they have languishing in their vaults, among them:
NIGHTFALL (1957) Directed by Jacques Tournerur, starring Aldo Ray and Anne Bancroft. From the novel by David ("Dark Passage") Goodis
JOHNNY O'CLOCK (1947) Robert Rossen directs Dick Powell and Evelyn Keyes!
The WHISTLER series (1940s) Nightmarish "B" gems! (What a dandy box-set these would make!!)
MURDER BY CONTRACT (1958) Vince Edwards as a killer for hire.
THE SCREAMING MIMI (1958) Anita Ekberg and Gypsy Rose Lee!! Directed by Gerd ("Outer Limits") Oswald
THE BURGLAR (1957) Dan Duryea and Jayne Mansfield; again from a novel by David Goodis!
PUSHOVER (1954) Fred MacMurray and Kim Novak!
711 OCEAN DRIVE (1950) Edmond O'Brien and the Hoover Dam!
WALK A CROOKED MILE (1948) Great neglected noir thriller w/ Dennis O'Keefe
M (1951) Joseph Losey's curious remake of the Fritz Lang classic!
THE SNIPER (1951) Powerrful serial killer noir!

There; that's my two-cents!

Hmmmm, how 'bout Kongo ?
Any film that features Walter Huston & Lupe Velez in a lost African kingdom is definitely worth preserving for future generations!

John---I take it you mean you want The Tamarind Seed on R1. I agree. After viewing my new R2 dvd I was driven a little batty by the pace. It does alter the sound---especially of the voices. It's a pity because the picture quality is such a vast improvement over my old R1 vhs tape.
