Fox "Vote Your Choice" for Blu-rays

Post by pvitari »

From Home Theater Forum:

What Movies do you Want Released on Blu-ray? The Choice is Yours!

We are pleased to be working with Fox on an exciting promotion allowing members of HTF and other consumers the ability to vote for the film they want to see released on Blu-ray from each of the following decades: the 1930s, 1940s, 1950s and 1960s. Fox will release the winning title from each decade on Blu-ray later this year as part of the Fox Studio Classics Blu-ray line.

We can't show you the list of titles on the ballot until this Tuesday the 15th when we open up voting here on this page, but trust us when we say that Fox has done a great job with the ballots as there are a lot of fantastic titles to choose from. Come back next week to check out the list of titles and vote for your favorite in each decade. Then come back every day to vote again and see if your favorite is in the lead.

*****
These blu-rays will be part of the Fox Studio Classics Blu-ray Line that launches on Tuesday with How Green Was My Valley, Titanic ’53, Gentleman’s Agreement, and Wild River.

I know all you SSO folks have lots of 20th-Century Fox favorites so this is your chance to put in your two cents. :)

OK, so I got the title wrong, it's actually "Voice Your Choice."

The poll is now up and you can vote once a day, so go thou you all and vote... every day if you like!

I voted for these:
Nightmare Alley
Where the Sidewalk Ends
The Last Wagon
Warlock

I voted two titles for the 1940's and two for the 1950's. I wonder if the second vote got registered? It said OK so it should be all right.

Unfortunately I voted for Where the Sidewalk Ends in the 1940s section. Hopefully that doesn't matter.
