I like this
In something tangentially related to classic film, I heard that Keith Olbermann (who generally annoys me) has been referring to Glenn Beck as "Lonesome Rhodes Beck."

Oh. Yeah. Lonesome Rhodes Beck is sure what the world needs now
"I'm not just an entertainer. I'm an influence, a wielder of opinion, a force... a force!"
Glad to read that Olbermann's overkill can occasionally find a worthy target and an apt description.

I honestly had never seen or heard Beck until Monday, when CNN showed him ranting about the Republican Party losing its way. I stopped listening to Olbermann and the rest a couple of years ago. All seem to be blowhards to the extreme, no matter which side they're on. To me, anyway. I'm just comfy going back in time with TCM.

Well, with all the snow causing people to be housebound, and unable to get out and exercise, Beck is good to have around simply because if you listen to him for more than 5 minutes, your blood pressure is bound to rise, and the blood will go coursing through your veins copycatting a good physical workout, with sweat and all.
