The no-neck look can work -- like Borgnine or Lorre.

And I have no objection to well-developed forearms (I love looking at baseball players), but there has to be a good balance with biceps development as well, or it just doesn't work. Balance is the key -- I'm not fond of that body-builder's silhouette, where the upper arms and shoulders are twice as bulky as everything underneath.

I've always thought that Rita Hayworth had the best female legs in classic filmdom. Judy Garland had shapely legs, but a little too thin for my taste, even when she was plump.

What about Dietrich? As I recall, she was always very vain about her legs.
