Thanks, glad you liked it.

Yes, I had looked over some of the earlier posts when I first found the site; the thread was one of the reasons I joined... [“They love Ben Johnson too, yippee!”]

I just looked over the most recent posts, and I’ve got to say a few things that won’t be popular, but like Ben said: ‘that’s the way I feel, and I’m not afraid to speak out.’

And oh, I see your name is actually Wendy? Sorry I called you Jack by mistake.

The picture of Ruth Donnelly is great. She was a great character actress. Alos, Gertrude Hoffman. How wonderful to see them both

Hi Joe,

Many thanks for posting a very glamourous picture of Ruth Donnelly... As all of you here know - I consider the supporting & character actors & actresses STARS too... And I know, you all do too!!!
Miss Donnelly was a great star, as Dickson has pointed out....

If this is her preparation, it really sheds light on the musical numbers from Torch Song. It's all becoming very clear...

Wow, did that photo of Diane McBain bring back some memories. I had a suede coat, with a tiny little 'mink' collar, (could have been something else, what did I know??) 'bracelet' length sleeves, and long leather gloves, purchased with money earned from my first job at Sears. I was stylin'! but boy, howdee, that coat was like wearing tissue paper in cold weather.

SARA SHANE & DIANE McBAIN

I like Sara Shane in Magnificent Obsession back in 1954 of where she played Valerie Daniels. The movie "Obsession" starred Rock Hudson, Jane Wyman, and Barbara Rush. She did a great job of acting in that movie. I wished she did more movies.

Diane McBain ... when I was growing up ... she was one of my favorite blondes on network television. She did 4 episodes of Batman ... one of them with a two-parter with Van Williams and Bruce Lee ... aka. The Green Hornet and Kato. She also appeared in Wild Wild West, Hawaii Five-O, Airwolf, and twenty other television series.

What a great array of actors/actresses. People you see in movies, always giving good performances whether in big or small parts. George E Stone, Sara Shane, Sigrid Gurie, John Shelton and Mary Howard.

You do good!!!!!!!
