Joe:

That's more like it!!! You could be right about my preference of Ms. Wyatt later than younger, but this photo shows her strength, and the sparkle in her eyes, also her smile is more welcoming.

Thank you Sir.

The Marx Brothers (all five of them) and Zeppo's bride, Marion Benda in 1927.
From left to right: Gummo, Harpo, Chico and Groucho. Seated: Zeppo and (of course) Marion.
Zeppo and Marion divorced in 1954.

Pictures of Gummo with all of his brothers are rather few and far between. I don't remember ever seeing this one before.
He never enjoyed performing on stage and when he was called up for service during WWI he used that as an excuse not to
return to the team. He was replaced by Zeppo, who eventually harbored the same feelings as his brother and he quit the act
after DUCK SOUP (33) . When the Marxes were negotiating with Thalberg about signing with MGM he asked them if
they expected to be payed the same as THE FOUR MARX BROS. received. Grouch shot back, "Are you kidding? Without Zeppo
we are worth twice as much." Aaahhh.....brotherly love.

By the way, with his crouch and stance here, Gummo looks more like Groucho in this pic than Groucho does.

Gary, Mongo,

Perhaps I am wrong, but to me the order looks more like Gummo, Chico, Harpo and Groucho.

This photo makes me shiver and wince. It's a fascinating view of a runaway train.
