Lili Damita was so striking, Jack Warner and Errol Flynn look best buddies here, it wasn't always like that.

Hi,

It's a good thing Jane Russell had a great sense of humour - viewing all those publicity stills, she later said, her and her mother both burst out laughing and Jane thought they were 'stupid'..
Her mother said however that they would pay the rent, and so the rest is history....

In an interview years later, Miss Russell said that compared to todays sex-symbols, she "was little bo-peep"....

My evaluation is that she wasn't so 'little'!!!

I thought it was Alan Ladd too. The round face and blond hair. I guess that is a good clue, or would have been once, but the field is reduced quite a bit now.

I'll take a whack at Debbie Reynolds.

Your aim is right on target, mrsl -- she is little Mary Frances Reynolds, who grew up to be Debbie Reynolds. Good job! :D
