Hey, I resized these but they are not smaller? I don't know what happened? I keep trying, but they are not getting smaller. They look small in photobucket....but here they are big.

I don't see any problem with their size on my Firefox browser or on IE, JackF. I like 'em!

Re: *CANDIDS*
Hi,
Thank you so much Joe and Jack for posting these pictures of Betty Blythe. And there is nothing wrong with the sizing of them.
She was indeed an early sex symbol along with Theda Bara, Valeska Surratt and Dagmar Godowska.
I don't remember her movies but I do know she was in "My Fair Lady" in the ballroom scenes. She was a good friend of Rex Harrison and often attended George Cukors dinner parties, so she cagoled both of them into giving her a 'part'....
She is one of the ones who instantly brings a smile to my face whenever I think of her....
Alison:
I didn't ask that many questions about movies back then because I never was that interested in them, even today I couldn't care less about films. But I did learn a lot through osmosis and visiting the studios. It's really all very boring....
Yes, Paulette was always a beauty - even in later life - she carried herself like a star and had a very warm, mirthful personality.

Re: *CANDIDS*
I love the picture of Clark and Freddie. Clark Gable had the loveliest smile, it lit up his whole face.
Larry, I was sure that Paulette had never lost it. On screen she looks so luminous, she's gorgeous in both her Chaplin films even though she's not gorgeously gowned, I've seen her too in Lady Windemere's fan.

A little delayed, but I loved the picture of Fred and Adele Astair.
Also, a beautiful pic of Glenda Farrell.

Wow. What a magical picture. Garbo looks radiant. The fantastically flowering tree pales in comparison to her bloom. Any idea what year this picture was taken? I don't remember ever seeing this one. Thank you for posting it.

I was just going to ask the same thing, Moraldo. It doesn't looks like her at first glance.
