Hi,

Great pictures of Rhonda Fleming, Arlene Dahl and Anne Jeffreys in their mature years.
These ladies have aged beautifully and know what true glamour is and champion it....

Brava(s) to each...

The relatively brief role of Chester, in "D.O.A." played by birthday boy Neville Brand, is a memorable highlight, because we see on display one of the all-time great out-of-control and sadistic psychopaths in cinematic history.

That's such a classic image of Neville Brand, Joe: A picture of pure psychopathic evil.

No wonder my mom used to say that she got frightened every time she saw Neville on the screen.

In real life, according to Coleen Gray (who appeared with Brand in KANSAS CITY CONFIDENTIAL), Neville was a very nice, quiet, highly intelligent and well-read man.

Appearances can be deceiving. But boy, what a puss.

Stone, it's nice to know that Neville Brand got a BAFTA award nomination in his career.
1955 Nominated

I didn't know that, Joe. Thanks for the info!

Brand was an excellent if underrated actor. Even in some of the dreck he did later in his career, he was always watchable.

And he was an extremely chilling Al Capone!

Mongo, your description of Neville Brand literally made me laugh out loud. BRILLIANT! I'm sure he'd LOVE IT!
