Yes Joe,
I dare say, she had something to do with it....
Seriously though, she should probably be elevated to sainhood!!!

Debbie and Jane share a birthday; they were groomed by the same studio, both were musical stars, petite and pretty, with smilar characteristics....lots of coincidences there!
Re: *CANDIDS*
William Holden witnessed local farmers tending to spaghetti trees while on location
for "The Bridge on the River Kwai". He couldn't believe it.

Re: *CANDIDS*
Hi,
Rita Gam makes me think of the glamourous days of Hollywood and NYC and Europe.
She always looked like a beautiful vision; and was once touted as the second coming of Hedy Lamarr and the second coming of Ava Gardner!!!!
I don't think she ever made too much of an impression in whatever role(s) she had - but she does pout and whine wonderfully as Herodias in "King of Kings" (1961)...
I remember reading that in the late 50's, she was astouded that an apartment in NYC that she was looking at was listed at $30,000.00... Now-a-days, that would be peanuts for that city.
Happy Birthday, Rita.

Today is Mr. Webb's Birthday
I am a big DRAGNET fan and on my recent trip to Vancouver B.C. to pick up a couple of Rita Hayworth's photos (I will be posting them later on this week) that I ordered last year and while I was there ... I picked up two pictures that are related to Dragnet for a good price. So, Joe informed me via private message that today is Mr. Webb's birthday and I wanted to share these two photos for all of you here in Silver Screen Oasis. I was happy to acquire them.
Feel free to download a copy of these photos if you like ... Pretty ... I say!
