I'm with you there about the lock of hair falling over the eyes, it's the same with Cary Grant, he looked best in his screwball comedy days because of that mussed up look with the hair hanging over the eyes. Very nice on both men

Over in Mongo's great CANDIDs thread, there's a terrific photo from the "getting ready for 1958 Academy Awards" photo of a howling Clark with Cary Grant doubled over, trying to scribble something, a bent-back Bob Hope and David Niven. Boy, I'd have loved to have gotten THAT joke! Those guys have terrific laughs.

Clark and Gene Tierney during filming of Never Let Me Go...the two got along extremely well, Gene
even said he used to read poetry with her.

Clark as he appears in his first featured role, in The Painted Desert. He and J. Farrell MacDonald
are the best thing about this oater. :D

Dear god, the cheekbones on that man.... how do you find such gorgeous pics? Just when I think you must be out of them, you produce not one, but ten more!

Are you taking the day off tomorrow? :)

Hi Jackie!

I wish. As it is, I will have to put two movies I'm recording on one disc since I won't be home to supervise. I
don't like doing that with my favorites. But my bosses just don't understand....I have an illness....

And I have HUNDREDS more photos, I've just been so lazy lately.
