Note to All

I will do another set of 12 photos of August 8th on Friday ... and here is my plan of attack.

I worked out my arrangements that I will be able to post pictures on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays Only. Starting August 10th ... I will change my AVATAR on a weekly basis and do a RITA HAYWORTH Picture of the Week on that day.

On Mondays and Wednesdays - I will do three posts anywhere up to 9 photos that day ... and on Friday ... I will do something radically different and I think you will love it.

So ... stay tuned everyone!

On a lighter note ... I will be active in the forum on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays ... and occasionally on other days as well. So, I just wanted to let you all know about it and I got some serious catching up to do this upcoming Friday of where I will be reading some of my favorite threads here!

Kingme, you can be sure that I will be watching some of Rita's films. I was looking forward to "Separate Tables" and "Fire Down Below"....perhaps in the coming months.

Kingme 13 Movies of Rita Hayworth
If I were Turner Classic Movies Chief Programmer - I would do an autobiographical format of her legendary career.

I would show them in this order ... no deviation necessary!

• Only Angels Have Wings (1939) as Judy MacPherson
Her breakthrough as a Supporting Actress under Jean Arthur and her chemistry with Cary Grant.

• Angels Over Broadway (1940) as Nina Barona
Her work with Douglas Fairbanks Jr. was flawless and I consider this movie a gem.

• Blood and Sand (1941) as Dona Sol
Working with Tyrone Powers, Linda Darnell, and Anthony Quinn put her on the path of Super Stardom Immediately.

• Tales of Manhattan (1942) as Ethel Halloway
Her pairing with Charles Boyer proves that she can work with the major leading men of her days with command presence.

• You Were Never Lovelier (1942) as Maria Acuña
Her favorite movie with friend Fred Astaire ... shows the world how good a dancer she really is.

• Cover Girl (1944) as Rusty Parker & Maribelle Hicks
Her greatest Musical ... pairing with Gene Kelly was nothing but pure entertainment.

• Gilda (1946) as Gilda Mundson Farrell
Her greatest Movie Role ... and the most Legendary. With her long time friend and co-star Glenn Ford was amazing.

• The Lady from Shanghai (1947) as Elsa Bannister
Her greatest Film Noir ... She and Orson Wells together put on a great show and it was great from start to finish.

• Salome (1953) as Princess Salome
Her greatest EPIC ... and possibly the most unappreciated film that she done in her legendary career. I wished more and more people learned to like this film.

• Pal Joey (1957) as Vera Simpson
Working with Frank Sinatra and Kim Novak proves that she still got it and this movie put her on the APEX of her career and passing the torch to Kim Novak as the leading Columbia lady.

• Separate Tables (1958) as Ann Shankland
One of her better movies and proves her critics that she can do critical roles that are quite demanding and then some.

• They Came to Cordura (1959) as Adelaide Geary
Working with Gary Cooper and Company ... her only True Western that she did and she did a marvelous job in this movie.

• Circus World (1964) as Lili Alfredo
Working with John Wayne was treat for her and knowing that she on her last legs and this was her last major film working with a major motion picture star.

Any Comments Anyone?
