Birthday boy Gene Reynolds Is best known for directing, producing and/or writing two hugely successful TV shows: Lou Grant (1977) and M*A*S*H (1972). Produced and directed numerous episodes of other TV hits, including My Three Sons (1960), Hogan's Heroes (1965) and Room 222 (1969).

Hush… Hush, Sweet Charlotte (c. 1964) was intended to be birthday gal Bette Davis and Joan Crawford’s second film together, unfortunately, the harsh rivalry between the two great stars led to Crawford ending her part who was replaced by Gone with the Wind’s Olivia de Havilland. During the short time Crawford worked on this film, Davis ordered that Coca-Cola be the only soft drink available on set… now if you know anything about Joan Crawford, you know that her last husband, Alfred Steele, was CEO of Pepsi Cola, Coca-Cola’s biggest rival.

Lomm, since you like Ebsen's singing voice, you might enjoy some of the MGM musicals he made pre- and post-Oz, where he sings and dances. He actually worked with Judy Garland once before, in Broadway Melody of 1938. Here's another little clip:
