Here's two films I think are bonded by themes

Both leading men Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley are rebelious young men with a talent for writing.

Both men attract educated women, who try and help them, Martha Hyer and Hope Lange.

Then there are the two women, who with the greatest respect are at the other end of the scale Shirley Maclaine and Tuesday Weld, who also set their sights on their films leading man
