Anne,
Do you know which of the regulars will be in the movie?
Thanks

Will this be a continuation from the end of the series, or will it be a stand alone story?

When the series ended, it was announced the movie would be made to wrap up the series, so I assume that's what it will be.

I too was a big fan of the STARGATE series while it was on Showtime, but after it went to Sci-Fi I lost interest. I think I just couldn't get use to seeing them with commercials. Funny, I was thinking about the show just today while I was at the local library. They have the DVD sets and since I recently retired and will have a little more free time it would be fun to start from the beginning and watch all of them.

My husband and son got me hooked on this show. I'd seen the original movie in the theatre and liked it, but I think it works better as a series.
Anyway, I got into the Goa'uld plotlines and the Replicators, but they sort of lost me with the Ori. It seemed like a long, multi-part slam of organized religion.
Jake and Jeff got the new movie (I think) but I haven't watched it yet.
