Bless you patful! Maybe my clues are too boring? Or are you and I the only people here who may find the originality of this movie's setting more intriguing?

Clue #6: A movie that is an acknowledged influence on some modern filmmakers whose character donned the hat of an adventurer in several of their films

Nah, everyone's probably out running naked down the streets now that we finally have warm weather.

Okay, one more clue...and that's it, since I'm probably getting annoying.

Clue #7: Moses went up the mountain, but he didn't expect to find a guy who thinks that Father Knows Best--especially since the setting was far from Mount Sinai.

Great, Nancy. Thanks for ending this agony.

Okay, since I'm listing the major stars (maybe we'll get more responses?), my initial clue will only be that it's on TCM's schedule.

S.Z. Sakall
Gene Kelly
Ethel Barrymore
Van Johnson

I seriously think you did worse than I did, as far as the easy part goes.

It's a Big Country, but it's been 100 years since I saw it.

I like this game too, but I only started it up again to see if anyone else was interested, but I guess it's just you and me Patful, so I'm going to watch the other two George Brent movies I have on DVR.
