I like this film. it reminds me of the adventure films/serials like Indiana Jones or King's Solomons Mines.
Love Rachel Weisz and John Hannah who plays her brother in the film. The action never stops and the effects are great.
Arnold Vosloo who plays the evil Imhotep steals the film. (He was last seen on 24) It's the type of film you can watch over and over and never get tired of it. How about those Scarab Beetles...WOW!!

Wow, I would have never thought to see Mummy fans in here. Arnold Vosloo is an excellent actor that knows how to play villains naturally. I'm a huge fan of both films and Jerry Goldsmith's score in the first one is breathtaking. All the actors were terrific and the dialog witty. "The Rock" kinda messed it up for me in the second one portraying the Scorpion King but I was glad to see most of the original cast. Apart from Imhotep, the mummy guards and the army of Anubis were my favorites. :D

How funny was Benny? At first I couldn't believe it was the same actor that appeared in "Steel Magnolias" because he had some weight back then compared to now. He is so skinny in "The Mummy".

Beni was played by Kevin J. O'Connor who also played Igor In Van Helsing and was in Gods and Monsters. I also like Omid Djalili who played the warden.
