An Announcement About Our Friend and Moderator Klondike

Post by moira finnie »

On behalf of this forum's administrators, we would like to announce that our longtime friend and founding member Klondike, has recently asked that he be released from his former moderator status and take a step back from his online presence in order to address his many work and family obligations.

Klon, while we know that you are not likely to visit here, we would just like to publicly thank you for all your common sense, good guidance, humor, and the way that you made words dance. Here's hoping that life is kind to you and that--if you ever have time to post about our beloved classic films--you'll think of us as your first pit stop on the internet highway.

As they say in Scotland, Beannachd leat (goodbye), Slàinte! (good health), and Sealbh math dhuit (good luck) to the ol' sled dog.

klondike, I'll miss you :( . I hope you have at least a little moment to pop over here and see the outpourings of warmth from all of your friends.

Take care and may God and circumstance bring you back to our family one day. All my best to yourself and your family, may you all keep in good health and cheer.

I hope he and his family's okay, I'm sorry he'll be away, it won't be the same.

Klonny, we'll miss you! It has been far too quiet without you here, and I hope that you have time to occasionally pop in and say hello. Beannachd Dia dhuit. Take care, my friend.

Yikes, I missed this announcement.
I too will miss Klondike and his witty posts which almost always made me laugh. He was a rascal at times and was good to me on the CANDIDS thread. I wish you and your family the very best.
