We have two new Moderators!

As the Silver Screen Oasis is stretching its wings, exploring our social media opportunities that could bring new members and the fact that summer is upon us (and for many that means vacations at some point), Moira, Chris and I felt it was a good time to reach out and add a couple of moderators to the mix. We still miss Klondike very much and even though he left some big shoes to fill, we feel even he would say it's time to fill those shoes.

After giving the matter much thought, we are pleased to announce that Kingrat (David) and Suex2(Christi) have graciously accepted our requests to become moderators.

Sharp-eyed Oasisians (is that a word, it should be) will notice the word "administrator" on our new duo's info tabs. We hope you will join us in saying "Congratulations" and welcome them to our team!

Moira, Chris and I will still be here - we love this place and are thrilled that our little community has grown so much over the last five years (though it hardly seems possible that five years have come and gone)- keeping an eye on things, trying to prevent spammers from taking over the Oasis universe and adding our two cents to the various conversations. We just have a little extra help now in keeping those spammers at bay and doing the various housekeeping chores that keep this forum one of the best and most congenial places on the web for talking about movies, television and life in general.

So, welcome to Kingrat and Suex2- if we had badges, we would pin them on you but as they say in the movies, "badges, we don't need no stinkin' badges"!

We are working on it! Right now you can see Sue Sue Applegate and kingrat as moderators in each section of the message board, though their names are not bolded yet. We will change that when we can, but for now, if you have a question or need some help you can ask any of us for assistance. We'll be glad to help or find an answer for you.
