Yes, Quaid actually stood out more from the others, even if I had a hard time recognizing him at first.

I will say now that I've seen it, I wish I had never boarded the 3:10 to Yuma. What a mess that director made of the movie, I don't understand why it's getting such good reviews. Crowe deserves some credit for at least providing some personality to the proceedings, but the movie just drove me nuts. I couldn't list all its faults, but I went into some detail in the Gary Cooper Thread back at TCM.

Suffice it to say I will NOT again go to a theater to see a first-run western until these characters out there learn how to make them properly.
