OKLAHOMA? Sheesh, when did they start getting earthquakes? I grew up there and never had to worry about anything but tornadoes and the occasional dust storm.

apparently, there was more than one yesterday, but the big one was at 11 at night, and I am about 15 miles south of Kansas City, and northcentral MO felt it too.

Three years ago, an earthquake rattled Kentucky a little. My dog slept through it!

The weather was lovely this past weekend in Northern Virginia...but not nearly as lovely as the Most Beautiful Granddaughter in This and All Alternate Universes!

I have a grand nephew that is pretty handsome. And yes, the weather in the Balt/DC area has been fine while topped off with the Ravens beating the dreaded Steelers.

Ravens? Is that a real NFL team? Bears - 17. Eagles - 10. That's a NFL score. Between two NFL teams. (I know. The real Baltimore team sneaked out of town.)

So, let's talk. Your grand nephew...is he worthy?

He comes from a long line of Taylors. His great grandfather and grandfather certainly are of a notable stature. I can't say as much for his great uncle though.

BTW, what is wrong with a 23-20 score? And yes, the real Baltimore did sneak out years ago but it seems the current version bears no resemblance to the former. A local outrage was that some back up player was spotted on the sideline wearing the sacred number 19. Bad move and totally out of touch with their past. (I didn't see it but read about it.)
