Mr. A:

He is absolutely gorgeous. Don't do anything but enjoy him, and enjoy being a Dad. I thought that was your grandbaby, and someone just informed me of my mistake, please forgive me, but I still mean you should have fun.

Alison (charliechaplinfan) and Brenda (silentscreen) at the beautiful English country estate of Chatsworth- Derbyshire, England. Alison is just as I thought she'd be- a beautiful person. My brother says that people from the North country are known for their warmth and friendliness, and he's right! :D

Brenda, thanks for posting the picture, we had such a good time. Your brother might have said that people fromthe north are known to never stop talking and he'd be right. Weren't we like schoolgirls chatting all the day through. Brenda looks miles younger than her years.

Thanks Alison. I've my Mom's good genes to thank for looking younger. My cousin is nine years older than me and looks about my age, if that old.

I told Bruce that if he thinks I sound young when I'm talking with you, it's because you're a good influence. That shut him up. :)

Nice to see you a picture of you both. If I'm ever brave enough, I'll either upload or link to a pic of myself. (The South Park image I made is a fairly good representation.)

I'm now beginning online classes in Human Resource Development with Clemson University. A little overwhelming but I hope once I get into the swing of things, I'll feel better about my final projects. Even as a English major, I don't relish the idea of writing long papers again and looking forward to presentations (which will be online using PowerPoint this time - not sure yet if I'm glad or anxious about that).

I've also secured a position as an AmeriCorps VISTA with the local chapter of the American Red Cross. The pay isn't great, but it's tremendous experience that falls in line with my current degree, and it should lead to something good down the road, if I can keep my grades up, plus it's an opportunity to work with some of the disadvantaged in the community. The position contracts for 1 year and after that, I hope to have good enough grades that I'll find something in the Clemson area while I'm finishing school.

FWIW.

Thank you so much Fernando. :D I go to see them in November. The twins are saying a few things now.
And you know girls, once they start, there's no stopping them!

They're lovely, I miss when mine were little like that. Living where she does, my 10 year old granddaughter is one of those that thinks she will soon be 15. At least I can be grateful that she hates the black nail polish that is all the rage right now.
