This will probably be a few days late due to my continued punishment of having my posts on this thread delayed because someone accused me of being a racist according to something I mis-worded a couple of years ago, so I often don't read this thread but anyway . . .

With my son home for the holidays from California, and my grandson home after graduating from basic training in the Marine Corps., I had a terrific lunch with the two of them at one of my favorite restaurants. I prefer lunch to dinner because I can really treat myself to potatoes, bread, butter, and cake with whipped cream and still have time to work it off all afternoon since those are things I rarely eat now-a-days.
