Moira-- that pic of the ruby slippers is appropriate! I played the Wicked Witch of the West in The Wizard of Oz twice!

Enjoying a bit of a solitary birthday today. I had a coupon for a free birthday meal at an Amish restaurant in Middlefield called Mary Yoder's. It's a bit of a drive, so we don't get out there very often. But today I took a nice leisurely drive through the countryside and had a delicious hot turkey sandwich smothered i gravy with mashed potatoes. Nothing like homemade bread and fresh roasted turkey! On the way home, I passed a horse-drawn Amish buggy. I love to see those horses trotting. Such a beautiful animal.

Back into the suburbs for a stop at one of my favorite Italian bakeries for cupcakes, chilling at home for a bit, and then off to Noises Off! rehearsal tonight. Drinks after rehearsal with my darling cast-mates, director and stage manager. Not too shabby!
