The Silver Screen Oasis

Many thanks to everyone who has seen us through much of our first decade. Whether you participate everyday or simply enjoy reading the posts here, your presence is appreciated. I am particularly indebted to Lynn, Chris, Christy & Jeff as well as Cass & David, but am also thinking with gratitude for the largely unseen but vital contributions of two individuals who are only with us in spirit today:

--Jon Parker for giving us this platform and for fostering the growth of our Guest Author program in its early stages
--Kyle Kersten for his sage advice, sense of fun, and abiding love of classic film.

May our efforts to amuse, inform, and inspire one another continue to reflect the best of both these gentlemen. On with the celluloid dance, me hearties!
