I see by the calendar that it’s June the 7th. Exactly one year ago
today the Record Party swung its doors open for the first time and
ever since it’s been a river---no, an ocean of great music spilling
forth every single day. To those who’ve helped make this such a
fun place to be over the past year, we humbly salute you! Thanks
DJ ChiO, DJ Ark, DJ Judith, DJ BenW (from the early days), DJ’s
Metry Road and MichiganJ and all the rest like Hollis and Klondike
who stop by on a regular or semi-regular basis. And most of all,

No big woop, I guess, as he does own a home somewhere around here in southeastern Vermont, but ya know what? Might just be me, but I swear the ol' former James Ganger/Eagle is starting to look like Yosemite Sam.
I was tempted to march up to him and bark: "Ya better stop yer train, Rabbit!"
But I didn't, cause the locals think I'm cracked enough as it is!
How about sumpin' from ol' JW, back when he didn't resemble a Warner Bros. cartoon?

Happy first birthday to Dewey's Record Party. I come to Silver Screen Oasis to discuss movies, but this is always my first stop, and sometimes my only stop. It's better than radio. It's better than sex (well, not quite, but it's close).
