Check out what three (talented) people can do with a very simple looped groove:

Thought I'd jump back in here with the totally INSANE "Hooray For Hollywood"
number from "Hollywood Hotel"
I can't get enough of Johnnie "Scat" Davis' voice (BTW - Johnnie hails from Brazil, Indiana)
... or Benny Goodman's marching band hat ... or Gene Krupa! ... this number has it all!

Are you Robert Ryan?"

Nobody could swing it like Benny Goodman.

Does that Grand Central Air Terminal still exist? It's beautiful!

Welcome home, Mookeroo!! What a rouser! (Remember, in Hoosierdom,
it’s pronounced BRAY-zill, and it is also the home of the noted do-gooder,
Jimmy Hoffa.) A swingin’ number backatcha…

ChiO! Thanks for the "BRAY-zil" pronunciation tip!... is that like Lima, I mean - "LIE-mah" - Ohio?

Not to mention Cairo (that's KAY-ro), Illinois, and Goethe (GO-thee) Street and Devon (Da-VON) Avenue (near Robert Ryan's childhood home) in Chicago. In a previous life while wandering northern Indiana, I stopped twice for directions to Galveston, Indiana, and got shrugs. The third time, after getting a shrug, I wrote it down and pointed at it. Response: Oh, you mean Gal-VEST-on.

Few guitar players incorporate the harmonic complexity of Coltrane or Dolphy, yet have the technique and control to pull it off. This rarely shows up on youtube, so catch it before it's yanked (and btw, the drums are killer too!).
