The Capitolfest 2024 (August 9-11, 2024) schedule is beginning to be announced. Hope those precode Fox films don't have to be canceled.

AFI Silver Classic Film Weekend (June 13-16, 2024). No titles have been announced yet, but there have been so many Precode-era films restored recently, plus AFI can screen stuff tied up in rights issues....I've ordered my pass; does anyone else expect to go?

THANKS for mentioning/posting this! I’ll look into it-it’s not all that far a drive! PRE-CODE= yay!

They've announced the titles and presenters. Some of the recent restorations I had been hoping to see have NOT been scheduled, tsk tsk. But they scheduled Christopher Bean (1933), one of those films "tied up in rights issues." I've already ordered the series pass, but it is possible to buy tickets to individual screenings.
