OK Dargo, I know your post is supposed to be funny, but as you know I'm an art conservator and the paintings you posted all have artistic value.
The above was one in a series of commissioned paintings by Cassius Marcellus Coolidge for tobacco advertisements. They became so popular, prints were and still are offered.
I own one, it hangs in my studio.

"Velvet Elvis" paintings are also "every man" art and use a traditional "Alla Prima" technique of painting used by Rembrandt to Bob Ross. These assembly line production paintings have taught many artists, you'll see various skill levels among them.
I own one of these too.

And Thomas Kincaid paintings like the last one are beloved by many for the exaggerated luminous quality, also a learned technique. Before you make fun of it, I'd like to see YOU try it.

Although a relatively modern movie poster, this video shows the meticulous work involved to re-line it for hanging and gives you an idea of the type of work I do 8 hours/day-

So basically here Tiki, what you're saying is that Kitsch Art does have a degree of intrinsic value as well. Or something along these lines anyway, right?!

Alright, I'll buy that.

(...although personally, I still wouldn't buy any of the above paintings) ;)

Kitsch is in the eye of the beholder. At best; art reflects the society of the time and as we all know, it takes all kinds....

Masha, that dragon illustration looks like one of MrTiki's tattoos-one of 4 dragons. (not a fan of tattoos)

This is actually the picture I own:

It's an authentic Artist's Proof and worth some money, found in a dumpster. It's been fully cleaned, archival framed & on display in my studio until it sells. How can you not love the doggie Pin Up girls over the bar? Maybe not high art, but fanciful & fun.

Detective Jim- Hopper is one of my top ten favorite artists. Someday I'm going to see one in person.
