TCM has announced that there will be a tribute to Mickey at the Film Festival but so far no details.

Dear Christy,

Having you on the scene is almost like being there. Your reporting skills make you our very own modern-day Bonita Granville. Keep up the great work!

Hey kids,

MrC and I are about to head down to Hollywood for another day of fascinating conversations and great movies. Both Suex2 and I are taking notes and pics (though she has me beat on the number of pics).

We've been running from one line to the next in a whirlwind of activity and, of course, all of Suex2's fans in our wake!

Promise lots of stories about all we have seen and done!

Coming soon!

We'll be looking for ya, Lynn! Have enough fun for all of us. Can't wait to read all the observations and see the pics from the SSO delegation.

Our own intrepid Suex2 takes a moment away from blitzing social media to look glamorous for her fans!

On the night before the festivities we gathered at Musso and Frank's to dine with Larry (one of the highlights of the whole Festival).

Here kingrat and MrsOsborne smile for the camera:

And the guy who was never far from our thoughts this year- my dear friend, the Chief- Kyle in Hollywood.

I think we toasted to him every evening:

While Suex2 and her traveling companion, Sam, finish up their day of sight-seeing in Palm Springs and motor back to the City of Angels, I figured I would help out a bit.

Here is Los Angeles Magazine's article on the Fest:

"Good cinema is made with a solid knowledge of what has come before. There’s no better place to see that than at a film festival with like-minded fans--and TCMFF is the gold standard."

And the LA Times:

And the Hollywood Reporter:

And be sure to check out the Festival photos and videos:
