I know this You Tube clip may not relate to classic films, but the elegance of her speech brought tears to my eyes.

This is probably old news to most of you but I just tumbled upon this while looking for Alexander Nevsky (the movie, not the man), it's a YouTube channel called Openflix:

http://www.youtube.com/user/openflix?feature=watch

It seems to have a lot of classic movies and they are not broken up into parts, which I like. I'm not sure how long the movies stay around, but it might be a channel worth bookmarking.

Here is a trailer I created for "MovieCHAT."

How many of the films can you name?

That was GREAT, Maven! Let's see,

The Lettah

The Rains Came

The Strange Love of Martha Ivers

Leave Her to Heaven

Notorious - fabulous closeup of Rains! I never ever noticed that angle before.

oh yeah, All About Eve

I loved how you made Marilyn glow with color, and they way you ended it with Gene and her sunglasses. Perfectly edited to the music, you notice details that you never would watching the movie. I also liked how each clip flowed into another, i.e. cigarettes, or Ingrid stroking someone's face.

You're not going to fall of that cliff, you are going to sail right over, like Ben Johnson on his horse.

I'm curious: Does anyone know how to take a screencapture from a YouTube video? Do you just use the same procedure as taking a screencapture of your computer's entire screen or is there some special software that does it for you (so you don't have to edit and crop the picture)?

I went on YouTube and played a clip and then selected to play it "FULL SCREEN." When the whole pix fills up my screen monitor I took a screen shot ( on Mac: Command Key + the Shift Key + the Number 3[/u[ key. Clicking all three buttons simultaneously, I was able to get this shot below:

Alright...okay. This was probably unuseful and totally unhelpful but maybe I can get one point for trying? Guess I'll sit back and wait for the answer too.

Command-Shift-3...I will try that, thank you! I wonder about videos that look bad when blown full-screen, if there is an alternative for those instances?

I have become aware that several of our creative members have their own youtube channel where they post their work on occasion. Here is an alphabetical rundown of those I am currently aware of, though if there are more, please list them, won't you? Thanks in advance for adding any additional youtubers among our members. If I have added any links that a member would rather not have listed, please let me know and it will be removed.:
