Isn't it just? George and Cary, I suppose they were going through similar career paths at the time, not top rung stars, Cary got Gary Cooper's cast offs and George was often in support but sometimes in the lead. Yet it never occured to me that they would have known one another at all.

Jimmy Cagney definitely had his own unique look. Curious of the year of the photo, though. Jimmy really seemed to age in a short period of time. Compare the ten years between THE ROARING TWENTIES and WHITE HEAT. From 40 to 50 and what looks more like a 20-year age difference.
