Re: CORNELL WOOLRICH : King of Noir
Sorry! I went the kneejerk self-preservation route. ( Chi0 looks like he'd be a tough grader. ) I'll make it up to ya.

If the class doesn't settle down, I'll...I'll...I'll make you stay after class and watch nothing but Stanley Kramer movies.

After PHANTOM LADY will be DEADLINE AT DAWN.
A week off for Spring Break (newsreel footage of Noir Girls Gone Wild to follow).

NOIR GIRLS GONE WILD! Stanwyck, Greer and Glenda Farrell on the town. Heaven help us! I haven't seen DEADLINE AT DAWN (or 4:15 if you forgot to set your clocks ahead) in a long time. I should pop that one in again. Now, as class monitor, I will begin the showing of BLESS THE BEASTS AND THE CHILDREN. Perhaps, this will inspire better behavior in the future!
Re: CORNELL WOOLRICH : King of Noir
There are nine TV adaptations and twenty radio adaptations on youtube that I could find (took a bit of digging because "Woolrich" doesn't ferret them out). Here are some of them, selected primarily because of the people involved in the performances.
Television Adaptations
“Momentum” (Alfred Hitchcock Presents June 24, 1956), Joanne Woodward.

Re: CORNELL WOOLRICH : King of Noir
Excellent! My entire next two weeks is now booked up solid with Woolrich. Although, I hate to run out at the end of two weeks....
Maybe I should drag my feet and watch or listen to one every week, to make it last longer.
