Greetings to the forum
I saw a reference made to Silver Screen Oasis on The Blackboard, a noir forum that I visit occasionally.
I browsed the folders and was favorably impressed by the intelligent discourse here.
So, hello.

Hello, Richard -- greetings from Brooklyn (well, I'm in Manhattan right now, actually). It's nice to see a new face at SSO.
Can you tell us a bit about yourself and about your film preferences?

Welcome, Richard. I think that you'll find this a friendly place with many of us very interested in noirs as well as almost every other type of classic film genre.

I likewise saw Silver Screen mentioned on The Blackboard, where I've sporadically posted for years. Posting my first message. Hi everyone!
