Erik,
I will have written recaps to post throughout the week. Too tired today to post more than the pics!

Good stuff, Lynn. The pictures are great. Good to see Larry, Jon and the others having a good time.
Kyle didn't look good in that image, most likely not feeling well. God bless him.
Looking forward to more good stuff, Lynn. Thanks.

Dateline: Hollywood...
Our lovely Dinner with Larry commenced at Musso and Frank's restaurant on Hollywood Boulevard on Wednesday evening. Early on we were joined by actor and TCM Guest Programmer Glenn Taranto, but he had to leave to attend a screening party for his introduction of Went The Day Well on TCM.
Sam and Larry
Larry treated us to many of his fabulous tales of his life and experiences among Hollywood celebrities and European friends and family, and I remember several tales about people like Joan Fontaine and Deborah Kerr, Pola Negri, Jesse Royce Landis, and many others. The food was delicious, and I had the best filet mignon I've had in the last ten years. Larry ordered the pork chops, and there was plenty of french bread with butter. Several desserts arrived and we all took a taste of each one. The spumoni had a delicate chocolate crust, and the custard was freshly made with a burnt-sugar vanilla sauce.
Larry and Christy
Alexa and Paula
Lynn and David
We ran into Ben Mankiewicz in the HRH lobby...
The next evening in the W hotel, Larry and I were able to meet Kim Novak, but , alas, it was a brief encounter and no photos exist. Then Miss Novak floated through the lobby with her entourage like an elusive wisp of smoke...

Re: Sue Sue's TCM Film Festival Tidbit Travel Blog
I was thrilled to meet actress Carol Arthur, widow of comedic actor Dom DeLuise, at Friday night's screening of Blazing Saddles. Both Arthur and DeLuise appeared in Mel Brooks' iconic western satire, and Arthur was introduced by Mel Brooks at the screening.
