I watched The Furies for the first time a couple of months ago, I didn't know this thread existed and have enjoyed reading everyone's thoughts on what was a delightfully complex movie for me, well acted by Stanwyck, Huston, Anderson and Roland. One I'll certainly watch again.

It's funny, those lesser known Mann's are some of my favorites.
Richard Widmark would have been a great choice!
