That is rude! Do you take if for granted that it is okay to talk like that to me, or anybody?!EP Millstone wrote: ↑January 17th, 2023, 9:38 pmAGREE, KayFrancis!KayFrancis wrote: ↑January 17th, 2023, 8:57 pm . . . however, quoting the clue allows us to understand what's bring asked especially when the page is done and goes to the next page when we can't see what the clue was.

laffite,
GROW UP AND GET OVER IT!
We are trying to desist from this type of behavior, remember?
"Grow Up." ?? Excuse me! I asked you earlier in a PM (not wishing to make the request publicly lest you exhibit extravagant online behavior, which is your wont as evidenced above) that was civil and respectful to you, that please do not quote me with your new clue in those game threads that apply. That is not a part of the game, to quote the previous person's answer. That PM is a matter of record. You did not answer and I took that as an assent. Then you do this! Grow up indeed. Nothing like the pot calling the Kettle black.
And so I ask you for a third time. Please desist. Thank you.

While I have no opinion on the merits of quoting a post or not quoting a post, it's unnecessarily antagonistic to respond in this way I think. If there's some other things going on between you two elsewhere, I respectfully request that you reconsider your responses in the future, take a deep breath, and... get over it. Yes, I'm joking there at the end. But for the rest of my response, please everyone try to play nice.EP Millstone wrote: ↑January 17th, 2023, 9:38 pmAGREE, KayFrancis!KayFrancis wrote: ↑January 17th, 2023, 8:57 pm . . . however, quoting the clue allows us to understand what's bring asked especially when the page is done and goes to the next page when we can't see what the clue was.

This is laffite's response
You said "certainly." And I appreciate that. Thank you.

I will make an exception in this case and post laffite's response to me
Hope all that's clear now. The argument was not between laffite and I. But laffite and another poster who left out the word Certainly while quoting me. I used the word certainly so that it was clear I would abide by his request. I was not the one who wrote grow up.
