That’s interesting Millstone, I’m about 6 foot, not quite, but when he came off the plane in the Milwaukee airport he looked very small and fragile. He had “the fear” I could feel that. But i could tell “the fear” was temporary, and he’d grow back to his bigger self.

Well, you know the ol' "truism" that people shrink as they get older.

Fortunately, height doesn't matter to everyone.

A friend of mine WON AN EMMY and brought it to show us last Friday night! What a wonderful accomplishment!

It is a gorgeous designed, detailed figure - I especially liked the small gold balls inside the looped sphere that catches the light. You never see those details on TV. (That gold box with padded silk lining is what the statue comes in)

Both he & his wife Kathleen (background) are very successful in their chosen field of television media proving not all millennials are lazy and dull.

I just got back from spending $60 in gift cards at SOUNDGARDEN, the great new & used movies/music/book store found only in Syracuse NY & Fells Point MD.

I noticed most other patrons in the store were in the vinyl section. I saw Fleetwood Mac RUMORS vinyl was selling for over $30. I remember being excited finding RUMORS on CD to replace my album. It was great seeing the album art LARGE again.

Most used CDs are $4 and DVDs $2.50, but are the same pedestrian titles. I often spot classic movies no one under 50 recognizes & snagged a special edition FLOWER DRUM SONG, a movie I always liked.

But what really surprised me was this:

Apparently, this was a TV movie based on a Broadway play.
It's probably a real stinker, but had to see it for the incredible over-the-top-estrogen cast-Liza wearing a chignon?

I've been propagating seeds over a month now:

I'm hoping to supplement my Great Grandmother's Raspberry crop with fresh Dill, my favorite herb.

It is difficult to note progress when you see a thing each and every day. I knew the Dianthus and Primrose had bloomed and the White Creeping Phlox had come out of transplanting shock. The other changes were not noticeable until comparing current with original.

My little Fuzzy has said that he once planted a rock garden. They all died.

So much for geologic time.

Bees on my catnip!

Image

There are both honey and bumbly bees on my little stand of catnip. There is also a wasp or two but I can ignore them.

It is very sad to say that I find it nearly impossible to capture them in a picture. I quickly counted more than a dozen within the frame when I took this but those I circled are the only ones which appear. There is a bit of a fuzzy smudge which is likely one but it is not definite.

I would love dearly having a picture of the dozen per square foot but no setting on my camera or on a friend's phone captures them.
