One of the best and most evocative, by Hugo Friedhofer/Emil Newman. I adore every single frame of this film and have since I was 15.

"The Man With the Golden Arm". Composer Elmer Bernstein!! It almost breaks up and is symbolic of the chaos of drug addiction. Great score.
