There is something picturesquely romantic about coyotes.
Javelinas are just ugly.

Speaking of pigs, I am sweating like one even with my a/c turned up full blast.
What is a good icy movie?

Well Bronxie, I suppose you could always take a page out of Howard Hughes' reportedly personal viewing playbill and watch...
(...that could do it, wouldn't ya say?!)

Oh, and btw regarding this earlier comment of yours here..
I'm thinking this might be explained by another little "epiphany" I've recently had.
(...that one which ALSO has me thinkin' lately that 'Jeopardy!' host Mayim Bialik is actually kind'a sexy!!!)
LOL
Yeah, while I agree that coyotes are actually pretty nice looking animals, I must ALSO say that for some reason I'm lately starting to warm up to the idea that even Javelinas are kind'a cute in their own peculiar way. And yep, not just the little baby ones.Bronxgirl48 wrote: ↑July 14th, 2023, 8:09 pm There is something picturesquely romantic about coyotes.

I did see a chilly one this afternoon -- DEAD OF WINTER. (Mary Steenburgen's apt. must be one of the ugliest ever shown on screen) Jan Rubes and Roddy McDowell are an outstandingly creepy pair. Lots of snow!

MISERY was another. Poor James Caan, tortured by one's ultimate psycho philistine fan.

I wonder if Olivia De Havilland had anything to do with that. Karma, for Lady in a Cage!Bronxgirl48 wrote: ↑July 15th, 2023, 1:38 pm MISERY was another. Poor James Caan, tortured by one's ultimate psycho philistine fan.

They only see CHUDs in New York City.Dargo wrote: ↑July 14th, 2023, 7:14 pmI take it by your use of the word "often" here, you didn't meant this literally, and where being ironic by your use of it here. I say this because as far as I know,Swithin wrote: ↑July 14th, 2023, 6:20 pm
I have a friend -- an English woman who settled in NYC many years ago. She worked in the WTC and fled, only to see it collapse behind her. She was so shaken, she had to leave NY. She purchased a house in the remotest part of New Mexico. She sent photos of javilena, which I had never heard of, up to that point. We don't often see them around Manhattan.
