Joni Mitchell's song "I Don't Know Where I Stand" almost never fails to bring tears to my eyes if I am truly listening to it.
Such a beautiful melody! And the lyrics wonderfully express how it feels to realize you're falling in love with someone.
The first version of the song I heard was Barbra Streisand's cover on her STOMEY END album.

The soundtrack for The Kids Are Alright is said to have been released 45 years ago on this day:
I was disappointed to hear this version of Roger Daltrey's iconic "See Me, Feel Me" vocalizations at the Woodstock Festival but later relieved to later learn that some musical tampering had taken place, and that the following version of the WHO's finale to TOMMY I'd grown accustomed was indeed how it really sounded:
