I also had an experience of a film burning. It was years ago in a small rep cinema in Paris (which is now closed). They were showing McCarey's The Awful Truth. Well, right in the middle, the film got caught in the projector and started melting......It took quite while to restart the projection. This was one of those cinemas where one guy had to sell the tickets and start the projector as well.....hmmmmm........

I've never suffered through a film burn, but I am anxious to hear your thoughts on Dr. No if the delay wasn't too distracting.
