Cinco de Mayo (and Peckenpah)

Post by cmvgor »

I'm partial to John Huston's 'Under The Volcano' (1984) Albert Finney,
Jacqueline Bisset and Anthony Andrews. Rich in culture clash; portrait of a fine mind in decline.

Also, all these contributers with facts and opinions on Sam Peckenpah:
Have they all bailed out of That Other Thread Over There? I've been trying to maintain a tribute to him in the Westerns forum Over There; About to dry up for lack of contributers.

I didn't bail. I am just more interested in analysis on the films themselves than the individual actors. That is how I approach film in general (although we all have actors/actresses we are partial to). There are a lot of people who get more into the individual than the actual performance and that's fine, I'm just not one of them.
