Continuing on with our survey of local radio stations...in Detroit
during the 1960s, the number one station was CKLW - The Big 8.
Originating out of Windsor, Ontario (on the other side of the Detroit
River), it could be heard (on a clear night) almost anywhere in the
U.S. Here's a sampling of some of the homegrown Detroit talent that
appeared on their music survey from this week in 1967...
#4 - BOB SEGER & THE LAST HEARD "Heavy Music"

#7 - AL KENT "You've Got To Pay The Price"

#13 - THE PRECISIONS "If This Is Love"

Well, here we go again. I'm evacuating the gang to my father-in-law's house in Monroe within the hour.

Good luck and best wishes to all you DJ's and your families. See you after the storm.
